POP UP ELECTRONIC SHEEP

The sheep of things to come
The Slash Stroke collective were all out in force for the Electronic Sheep pop-up shop at Noone, Old Shoreditch Station last Thursday evening. The label in collaboration with Christof Wong took control of the window space producing a minimalist stripped back winter scene with an ominous suspended Rams heads to over look proceedings. The product accessorised the existing ranges within the shop and fitted surprisingly well amongst everything bringing the shop together in a total look.
This being their 10th year there is an apparent shift in the Esheep direction, and that’s not just the Ram taking pride of place where once there might have been fluffy sheep. The A/W10 range shows a more confident and directional approach to colour, graphics and concept confidently straddling the fashion, street wear, outer wear markets. This is label based on combination of story telling, folklore, comics, imagined characters and nostalgia all mixed with humour and passion and rather than mellow with age it has all become more visceral. When you buy Electronic Sheep you become a fan, intrigued and compelled by the story and kept warm by the piratical fashion, yes its still just scarfs, buts scarfs with attitude.
Favourites are the long fringed stripey and the big signature Triangle, I want both actually.
ESheep are in Noone No 1 kingsland Rd e8 4de until Thursday, then onto Barcelona in December.
