The creation of hand drawn illustrations allows me to rethink and reinvent the object, the subject and mood. The most exiting thing for me is to draw from real life; the person who catches my eye by their posture, pose, outfit or any other peculiar feature, but what comes out from my hand may not be exactly as they really are. I always add my personal projection of how I see things and how I want them to look at a particular time.
The concept develops alongside the creative process, adding bits of abstraction to the reality. It is in my hands to retell the character by exaggerating or concentrating on particular details, shifting the subject and purpose of drawing wherever I want.
