Yesterday  Slashstroke took over the Fashion Space Gallery for a day of Campaigning for Fashion Activism, a workshop in making stuff happen, playing with loose statements and cheap slogans, a project exploring group dynamic and creative output. Concept, production and output, begun and finished in 5 hours, a campaign without a real cause, a manifesto for the sake of it, a direction because momentum feels good.  A reaction to fast fashion and loose contexts.

During the day we produced large scale graphic templates/layouts for a Zine  on which everyone involved could design content. Through collage, statement making, image making, photography and cut and paste all participants contributed to the production of #CFA ZINE. The original draft copy is now in the Gallery but we will be making more copies available soon. Keep a look out.

There ended up being a lot of  TITS and “SCREW YOU FASHION”, so we were pleased to see that good taste and fashion aesthetics are as subjective as ever.
